About CORE

Core Recruiter started in 2016 with Kelly Cartwright, a phone, a lot of determination and a belief that recruitment could be done differently.

Having worked in recruitment since she was 17, Kelly knew the good, the bad and the downright frustrating parts of the industry. So, at 23, she decided to build the kind of recruitment company she would actually want to work with.

One that answered the phone. Did what it said it would do. Knew its industry. And never forgot that behind every vacancy, CV and timesheet is an actual person.

Ten years later, Core has grown… but those values haven’t changed.

We’ve built relationships that have lasted years, watched candidates progress through the industry and worked alongside clients as projects, businesses and teams have grown.

We’re proud to be independent. Proud to be Norfolk born and bred. And very proud to work in an industry that we genuinely love.

We won’t always be the quietest people in the room. We’ll ask questions. We’ll challenge things. We’ll have a laugh along the way.

But when we say we’ll do something, we mean it.

That’s how Kelly built Core.

And that’s still how we do business today.
