The speaker was James Melton-Royal of @jmr_healthcare, who gave one of the most thought-provoking and brutally honest talks in GEN-E history, one take away for us and the most poignant message was this: everyone has their demons. Everyone is fighting a battle you can’t see. You only see the good stuff (let’s be honest – we are all guilty of only posting the good bits…) 💭

Whilst social media is full of perfection, it is sometimes easy to forget that you are only seeing what someone chooses to let you see.. and Kelly wants to always try and keep sh*t real and be authentic.
And after a couple of people said to her this morning at a focus group she hosted, that she is uuuuber confident; she felt like she should post this – because some times, she is really, really not…
Doubt sets in.
Imposter syndrome sets in.
Anxiety sets in.
The nervous stomach sets in.
And then she’s pretty stuffed, as you can see.. she can’t bluddy hide it!! 😬
Now let’s raise awareness, start the conversations, tackle the stigmas and keep sh*t real ✌🏼
Ps. Her anxiety doesn’t like public speaking and it REALLY doesn’t like awards evenings. 😂
